new relined helmet

this was my first time relining a full face and Phil asked me to use the original foam and leave it so you could see the stickers. it's for his friend Rob and it's a little big on him, so I used extra foam in a few places. I hope rob likes it!

AHH! it's a lot. the only one I'm selling is the red full face. the rest are phil's or his friends.


these little reflector stickers are so hard to pick off! I've been using tweezers and this oil stuff that I can't think of the name of right now, basically orange oil I think. if anyone has a better way of getting these off, please let me know!

peter fonda

ohh yeah! this is my newest helmet. it was a gift from a friend of my dad's so I'm sure I'll reline it but I'm not gonna be selling it. do you think people will mistake me for peter fonda when I wear it? probably. who am I to deny them an autograph or two?

newest helmet

so here's the newest helmet. I decided to start painting helmets, so I spent today sanding one. haha and then I kept coughing! I think the dust from the fiberglass was bothering my throat. oh also my first helmet on ebay sold for $30! how awesome is that?

I don't know if anyone wonders what I do about getting the straps through, but I always worry about sweat and rain or something messing up the foam or glue so I do two layers of fabric and then I sew around around the hole twice on both sides.

I haven't posted any old pictures in a while. I've just been so wrapped up with these helmets! I'll get it to it eventually. until then.. helmet mania. deal with it!

the liner is just sitting inside it right now, that's why it looks all messy and overflowing I SWEARR!



it's not done at all, I haven't even cut the top pieces but I just set the middle piece in and I guess I'll just do it in zebra. I like it! I'll post a picture when it's all done. this is one of my favorite helmets because my grandpa gave it to me! it's too big for me though :( it fits phil and he likes the zebra lining a lot so he can wear it for me.

here's a bell helmet I started relining. I don't know what I'm gonna put in the middle yet. I'll take more pictures monday. I'm gonna start doing more relining, the more I do the faster I get OOH!
